It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
For over 40 years, Naomi Society has been a vital lifeline for survivors of violence in Antigonish and Guysborough counties, providing essential services, compassionate care, and hope. Now, they are embarking on a transformative project: building affordable housing for women and children fleeing violence.
This initiative aims to offer more than just a roof over their heads—it will create a safe and supportive environment where they can heal, rebuild their lives, and thrive.
They need your support to make this vision a reality. By contributing to this project, you will help us provide a haven for survivors who desperately need stability and safety. While donations will directly support the new build, any funds raised beyond this project will be used to address the greatest needs of the survivors they serve.
Every dollar counts and brings us closer to a future where women and children in our community can live free from violence and fear.
