This event is personal for me as I have known seceral homeless people in my life who became friends. And I have many friends and acquaintances who struggle with housing costs and trying to survive during our local housing crisis. Many are just one paycheque away from not being able to pay rent and could end up homeless in our community. We do have homeless in our town! That is a fact and reality for many!

Last year I raised $3,000 for this fundraiser which sees money coming back to our community.  The benefits and money raised made a difference. This year with the help of the Southampton Rotary we will see funds raised stay in Saugeen Shores to help the vulnerable and homeless if all ages!
