It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. This will be my third year fundraising for some of our most vulnerable neighbors. Start Me Up Niagara does so much good and important work… housing services, employment services… their drop-in Centre offers a healthy kitchen and community garden, art supplies and classes, music, a lending library and two days a week they offer nursing and mental health services. Plus they help people with paperwork, giving them more access to programs that can help them. It’s pretty incredible.
