When I first joined Neighbour Neighbour Centre last Spring I was shocked at the sheer volume of families in our community  struggling to make ends meet. I was equally impressed by how Neighbour to Neighbour responded to those needs. From the food bank to financial counselling, and education programs for children, as well as mental and physical health programming at our Community Food Centre, we are making a difference every day in so many lives.

But I/we need your help.  

 As economic pressures are mounting, more and more families in our community are turning to us for support. Demand for our services is at record heights, and as the weather gets colder, we expect to see more neighbours at our doors in need. It takes a community response to meet this kind of demand, that’s why I'm walking, and that's why I'm asking for your support. 

It's cold out there. And on February 22nd, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
