Andrew, here! Last year I had the privilege participating in the Coldest Night Of the Year and it was a blast. It was the first time I had ever done any fundraising, since I was selling chocolate almonds in elementary school lol! And I must say it felt amazing to get out there and do some good!
I started out by just trying to raise a few hundred dollars ... and I was blown away by your generosity. My friends and family took my individual campaign contribution to well over $1000!! That's a lot of help for local people & families ❤️. I was given a special badge and got to ring the bell in honour of the amount raised! Thank you to all 🙂
Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking again in 2025 and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
The other day I heard the sad news that about one million Canadians had to use the Food Bank last year ... these are tough times for many.
