A little walk for a big problem!
This February, I'm walking in the Coldest Night of the Year - a winter fundraiser for people in my community who need my support.
I'm walking for maybe an hour or two at most - a little walk, really - but it's a big deal for the people we're supporting. River City Vineyard is the only non-government funded shelter offering support to our most vulnerable population. As Audrey River City's Manager says, we love them back to health, for who thjey are, and their ministry has been a proven success in our community. After spending a significant amount of my time with our unhoused population, I believe River City is our best option for support because it focuses on their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health, all pillars of a wholesome person.
I'd love nothing more than you to show your support by joining me on Feburary 22 for the walk. I would also sincerely appreciate your $ donations towards a cause so dear to my heart!
To share some good news, I can personally attest to 3 great stories from this year of friends I know that were living in tents and are now housed. While I may be the face they know and trust, I can't do it without the support of my friends, family and our community so help me to help them!
