This year, we are walking in honour and memory of Tyler Slusar, our daughter Michaela's father who sadly passed in November. Organizations like Start Me Up Niagara are impactful and heavily relied upon for those seeking assistance in navigating the broken mental health system. Tyler would use these services in his city to seek support and community. 

We strongly ecourage you to take a closer look at the people behind the addiction and mental health issues. They are still our loved ones in there and It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
