For the past few years, I have been fundraising and walking to support the Coldest Night of the Year - a winter fundraiser for people experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness who need our support. This year, my walk is in honour of my late sister-in-law, Clare Tenuta, who passed away suddenly a couple of months ago. She was truly an incredible human being who never missed an opportunity to do good, make someone laugh, and help those in need. I want to keep her spirit alive by doing what I can to add a little more warmth to the world.

I’m fundraising in support of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, which supports their community in meaningful ways. They have programing that includes a food bank, weekly lunch program, coffee mornings, kids' café, support groups, tax clinics, local arts markets, games nights and other events to support financial, physical, mental and emotional health.
