It’s cold out there.  And this February, for the 2nd year in a row, I am going to do something about it.  Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I’ll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. 

To be more specific, I will be walking to support Elora House.  Elora House provides 24/7 housing and support to female victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.  I was saddened to learn that the youngest female they have supported was 12 and the oldest was 54.  The work they do here is nothing short of a miracle and it gladdens my heart to know that someplace like Elora House exists to help these women.  If you would like to know more about Elora House and the work they do, go to www.elorahouse.com
