It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support individuals and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in the London, ON area. I'll be walking as part of the London Downtown walk, with fund raised going to practical assistance for neighbours in need - men, women and children - throughout Mission Services of London programs. Mission Services of London provides emergency shelter (including meals) for men and families, community mental health programs, addiction treatment for men, and an emergency voucher program through its Mission Store thrift store. It also offers chaplaincy services on a voluntary basis and connection with other community supports as necessary.
