As a labour lawyer and dedicated advocate for social justice, I am deeply committed to supporting youth in our community. This year, I am proud to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year on February 22, 2025, raising funds for youth justice initiatives and working to eliminate youth homelessness.
I serve as a board member of Kennedy House, an organization that provides critical programs and services to at-risk youth. Funds raised through the CNOY will go a long way to supporting the programming that Kennedy House and similar shelters provide - offering hope, stability, and opportunities for young people to build a brighter future.
Youth homelessness is a crisis that affects thousands in our communities, and the funds raised through this campaign go directly toward impactful programs like transitional housing, mentorship, and life skills development. This year, our collective goal is to raise $30,000, and with your support, we can achieve it.
As part of my role on the Kennedy House Fundraising Committee, I am also reaching out to corporate sponsors to join our mission, either through financial contributions or by forming teams to participate in this meaningful event. Your involvement—whether by donation or by walking with us—makes a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable youth.
Join me in taking a stand against youth homelessness. Together, we can help young people find a path forward.
