Your donation goes directly to an amazing local organization called Nelson CARES, which supports the most vulnerable people in our community. One of Nelson CARES' goals is the preservation, maintenance, and development of affordable housing. Coldest Night of the Year fundraising has helped Nelson CARES refurbish its downtown affordable housing building, Ward Street Place. CNOY funding continues to help Nelson CARES support individuals within this building through the Ready for Home program.
