I'm back again for my 5th year of walking in Coldest Night of the Year.  The first two I walked in Calgary but now I am walking in Qualicum Beach, a small village in mid-Vancouver Island, BC.   Compared to Calgary, the CNOY walk in my new home town is not quite as cold on the thermometer, but I can assure you the damp coastal cold goes right though to my bones.  Our homeless population in Oceanside -- which includes Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Bowser, Coombs and other smaller communities along the coast of the Salish Sea -- is growing and growing.  There is no shelter here and not even a warming station.  Unacceptable!  I'm walking again to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness.  I'm asking all my previous supporters, and hopefully lots of new ones, to please give generously by clicking the "Donate Now" button above.  Thanks!
