It's cold out there.  I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.

Ve'ahavta is a great organization.  Every day of the year Ve'ahavta vans go out into the community to distribute warm food, clothing and other essentials to those living on the streets.  At this time of year, when the temperatures drop well below freezing, the risks are greater, and people on the street die.  Your donation will help Ve'ahavta reach more people at risk! 

Ve'ahavta also runs programs throughout the year to provide training and counselling to help those at risk improve their conditions.  It's pre-employment programs are very successful in helping people enter or get back into the workforce and allowing them to no longer have to rely on social services.  These programs are always full, and unfortunately, capacity is limited and many are turned away.  Your donation helps Ve'ahavta continue and in fact, expand its programs to help more people.
