It’s cold out there. And this February, we’re going to do something about it. As part of the Code Blue Crew, we’ll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community. The name “Code Blue” comes from the life-threateningly cold nights in our county when a Code Blue declaration is made. It’s a joint decision between the Health Department and Emergency Services to update the commissioners on these critical weather conditions.

What better way to come together than with a team that has ties to both the Health Department and Emergency Services? We’ll be walking and raising funds to help those in need this winter.
