We're back! Thank you to everyone who made last year such a great success. However, hunger and homelessness still affect many in our communities and as long as they do, it's up to all of us to do our part. Please support me again this year as I raise money to support those who need it most.

I'm upping the ante this year. Coldest Night of the Year is, to me, about connecting with those living on the street by having similar direct experience of our cold Canadian winters. Unfortunately, so many people that have nowhere to go are missing essential clothing like gloves, toques, coats, boots, and more. I believe we put ourselves in the best position to help others when we take steps to understand them. This year, I'm making it personal in two ways: 1) I'm going to match a percentage of every donation you make, and 2) I'm going to walk without essential winter items. The more you give, the more I match and the more I'll be leaving in my backpack. In case you're worried (hi, Mom!), I won't be risking permanent damage or frostbite and I will have a safety plan in case of problems. Discomfort, not danger, is the the goal here.

Let's make this happen. Last year was an amazing experience because of everyone who donated. We can do it again.
