It's really cold out there, particularly this winter and not everyone has the luxury of a safe cozy home.  Safe and Sound is a safe refuge for those less fortunate.  The Coldest Night of the Year is an annual 5KM walking fundraiser that supports the efforts of the selfless people at Safe and Sound who shelter at least 45 people per day from the harsh elements.  This year the 5KM walk will be held on February 22, 2025 (which just happens to be, coincidentally, my 72 birthday)  in downtown Owen Sound.
