It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. Weather like this makes life that much harder for vulnerable communities already facing homelessness, insecure housing and food insecurity. Tackling these basic issues is one of several reasons of why I chose to volunteer as a board member with Sistering.
