How many times this month have you said, "Its cold out there"?

The far below 0℃ temperatures make us shiver... now imagine you didn’t have somewhere warm and safe to go.

I am once again walking in this event because I believe everyone deserves food, safety, and shelter! This year the Stratford walk is in support of Shelterlink Youth Services and Stratford Connection Centre. Last year Shelterlink, a place that supports youth experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of experiencing homelessness, served 107 youth. In 2024, the Stratford Connection Centre, a support centre that offers trauma-informed care, substance use and mental health counselling and basic needs such as showers, laundry and food, served 312 visitors.
