It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.

As the team captain for the Frost Fighters, made up of members of the YWCA Saskatoon board, I'm proud to support this cause. The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly 2 or 5 km fundraising walk in support of local charities. Since 2011, this event has raised over $75,000,000 across Canada, with 100% of net proceeds staying local.
