BRRRR...It's cold out there!!  

And this Saturday, we are going to do something about it. Together with other people across the country and in our hometown, we will be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community. The procceds will be donated to the Pella Food Shelf to help battle hunger and loneliness.

The Pella Food Shelf is making a big difference here in our small town in central Iowa. Our family has personally volunteered at The Shelf quite a few times, and we know how much work is put in by all the volunteers and staff to make our community a better place. You should check it out sometime!
