I thought I'd share my reason to walk! In the late 80's I was working as a Hospice Nurse in Harare, Zimbabwe...a lovely Canadian woman interviewed me for the job! The Hospice was called ISLAND HOSPICE, and their motto came from Jogn Donne's wonderful poem....No man is an Island, entire of itself, each of us is a piece of the Continent. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am part of Mankind.' I'd like to see the two Island charities twin, even though they do different work.....thanks Sharon
