It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. In my community, that means that I am raising funds for Helping Hands Street Mission on Barton Streer where everyone is welcome as a friend and where all friends can receive a warm cup of coffee, a listening ear, help securing needed resources for daily living, warm clothes, new toiletries, and even just a warm and safe space in the middle of the night for an hour.
