It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
In these past few weeks, I have been working on a committee with my peers from GCVI to help organize a portion of Hope House’s Coldest Night of The Year 5km walk. As a student learning in the downtown area, my peers and I feel especially obligated to support this cause since we see some of the circumstances of the vulnerable individuals just down the street from GCVI.
If possible, I encourage you to join me and other community members on this walk by registering with the GCVI team or sponsoring me as part of the GCVI team to help us reach our goal of $3000 through this link here: https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?teamID=1029197&langPref=en-CA
All donations, no matter the size are greatly appreciated and will support the work that Hope House does to support the most vulnerable among us.
