Two years ago, I braved the winter cold and made it for 5 km despite balance and vision problems resulting from my brain tumour, all to raise funds to help some of the folks around us who need a hand.

This year we're raising funds for an amazing organization called Our Place which is working with homeless neighbours along Pandora Street in downtown Victoria BC (where it gets cold, I can attest).

The photo proves my 2023 accompishment. This year I won't need the hiking poles!
