Greetings,

I am sure you know it's cold out there in light of the snow and winds we've had lately.  And this month February, a team of us are going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across this vast country, will be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.

On February 22, 2025 @ 16:00 hrs, the various teams emass together to walk 5km along a specific route in the downtown area in Nanaimo, all there to raise an appreciation of the cold evening conditions at this time of year.  This is my third year of doing this while many others have walked for the cause many times more.  And yes you just may get to meet some of those people that have been forced to  'live on the street'.
