It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community. One unfortunate turn of events could end any of us in a state of homelessness in today's economy. The rate of domestic violence is high, and this affects not only men and women, but children as well. I am representing Naomi Society who supports women and children fleeing abusive environments. Help them raise funds for the first and only shelter that will exist in Antigonish!
