Dear Friends and Family,
It’s that time of year again—the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser. Alongside thousands of Canadians, I’ll be walking and fundraising to support people and families in our community who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, and hardship.
This cause is deeply personal to me. My brother has struggled with homelessness, addiction, and profound hardship for most of the past 25 years. But today, I share some hope—he is nine months sober and, against all odds, has secured a spot in an affordable supportive home for men. His journey hasn’t been easy, but each day, he takes another step toward healing.
Reconnecting with him has been deeply meaningful, not just personally but in understanding how we can better support those facing similar struggles. His insights and experiences continue to shape my perspective, and I walk this year with even greater purpose.
Thank you for your support—it truly makes a difference.
