In 2024, my uncle James Cantillon Ross passed away. As a brilliant lawyer who struggled much of his life with mental health challenges culminating in homelessness in the last years of his life, underhoused, un housed and barriers related to both are near to my heart.
While I have the privilege of a roof over my head and good health, I have decided to join my friends at the Spot Laundromat for the 2025 Coldest Night of the Year walk.
My goal is to raise $250 or more to support those experiencing challenges like my uncle James did, right here in my community of Squamish.
It's cold out there.
This February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. Please, give generously by clicking the "Donate Now" button above. Thanks!
