Everyone deserves a warm place to sleep. Housing insecurity is a stark reality in the Bow Valley. Despite the beauty of the landscape, stable housing is hard to come by and the cost of living forces many to live in unsuitable conditions. Many residents are living a few missed paycheques away from being unhoused.
The Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley provides a vital service through their sheltering program, ensuring that no one has to freeze at night. This program also supports positive mental health for community members, ensuring that those who are unhoused don't feel so isolated and can access additional supports like being referred to navigation services at the YWCA Banff.
Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families who are unhoused. Give now by clicking the "Donate Now" button above. Through collaboration, we can build strong communities that support those experiencing hardships.
