It's cold out there. And this February, together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
For over five decades, Ray of Hope has been a steadfast source of care and support for those facing challenges related to crime, addiction, unemployment, or homelessness in the region. They provide various programs and resources to meet diverse needs, such as the Marketplace food hamper program, hot meals, shower and laundry facilities, and nursing care. Ray of Hope provides care for young people dealing with addiction, mental health issues, or family conflicts, and they also offer employment services.
