The cold is here, but so is my determination! This February, I’m taking a stand.

My dearest friends, I wouldn’t embark on this journey if I wasn’t ready to give every ounce of my heart and soul. You all know I’m a Warrior—a force to be reckoned with, a woman who dares to take on the impossible. I’ve come a long way in this life, from boldly serving as an openly transgender woman in the Air Force to now pursuing my MSW in Connecticut. Having expericed what it is like not having a place to call home. It’s been a challenging road, but as you know, I thrive in the face of adversity.

I refuse to back down from any challenge—just make sure I’m facing the right direction and then I will ready to charge forward! 

This is more than just a walk. It’s a statement. It’s a fight for those who need our help, and it’s a call to action for all of us to do our part. Let’s show up and show out for those who need it most.
