When my mom moved to Winchester almost three years ago, she told me about a transitional shelter for Winchester’s homeless that is run out of various churches each winter. She was excited to help out that weekend at her church, but her disease got in the way and prevented her from doing for others, the way she’d always done. My mom couldn’t walk or raise funds, but I still can! I’m walking in her honor because she so very badly wanted to help others. Please donate generously to this cause!
