It's cold out there, like really cold. I'm sure you can think back to all of those days this winter that you've thought you just might become a popsicle when temperatures plunge below -20... but then you get into your warm vehicle or your warm home, and all is well. Unfortunately, some folks in the community do not have a warm space on these frigid days, which exponentially increases their risk for hypothermia and frostbite, both of which can be deadly. In addition to this, many do not have the financial means to provide themselves and their family with hot food to help them warm up. This is why I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in the Saint John community. Any funds you donate to my page will support Outflow, a mens shelter here in Saint John NB which serves 800 meals per week and provides a warm place for folks to stay out of the cold!
