I love when I can do something to make things right for others who are being treated unjustly simply because of who they are, or because of who people think they are. I know what it is like to be misunderstood, misrepresented, and even shut out. It stings. I don't know what it is like to be violently forced to leave everything and everyone I have known, but I can imagine. It's bigger than a sting.

This year I am raising funds for COMPASS Refugee Centre, a charity that helps people as they seek Canada's protection from serious human rights abuses and life-threatening persecution. Your donation works to make things right for them.
