I am proud to be walking in my second The Grand Parade to support Shalom Manor and Gardens! If you know me, you'll know that Shalom holds a special place in my heart - it's where my career started, it's where I said goodbye to my grandmother who was a resident here and it's where I get to see "faith in action" every single day. When I returned to working at Shalom this past February after almost 8 years away, it felt like coming "home". 

This year, we are raising funds towards the purchase of a wheelchair-accessible bus. Many of our residents have altered mobility, and this bus will provide a safe, comfortable and convenient option to allow them to go beyond the walls of their home - little moments that make a big difference to quality of life!
