In Canada, growing older can sometimes mean losing not just independence, but comfort, dignity, and the feeling of being truly seen. That’s why, on September 20, 2025, I’m walking and fundraising in The Grand Parade – to honour and support aging loved ones in our care at Salem Manor Nursing Home. We’re raising funds to build a dedicated End-of-Life Suite – a peaceful, private space where residents can spend their final days surrounded by compassion, comfort, and loved ones.
