In Canada, growing older can often rob people of status, a sense of being valued, and even self-respect. On September 20, 2025, We are fundraising to publicly honour and support Abbeyfield Houses Society of Ottawa and the residents who live there. This house and others in the Abbeyfield family provides a family-type home for 10 - 15 residents per house, alleviating lonliness and providing a quality low-cost home with delicious, nutrituous meals.
