Hello! Thanks for supporting my 2025 Ride for Refuge! I'll be biking 20km to raise funds to support the work of Micah House in offering shelter and settlement services to recently arrived refugee claimants in Hamilton.

Last year, through your support, I was able to raise $2010 and this year I'd like to increase the goal to $2500!

Last year, I set some motivators to surpass different donation amounts, and as a result completed the race in a spiderman suit with blue hair and wrote some cheesy poems. 

This year I have several rewards for passing fundraising checkpoints again:

Donate for a tbh - remember those "like for tbh" Facebook statuses from the 2000s? So fun right? Donate $20 or more for your very own 2025 "donate for a tbh"

$500 - I will once again don the spidey suit and bike the 20km as your friendly neighborhood hero. With great power comes great responsibility.

$1000 - temporary hair dye (last year was blue - vote to keep it blue again or switch it up to something new)

$2000 - a spoken word video about the ride (no, I've never done spoken word in my life but I'll take it semi-serious)

$2500 - thrifty style: I'll go to a local thift store and pick out a chance outfit then wear it out to dinner. Vote on pants/shorts and short sleeve/long-sleeve/sweater/tank  how many hangers deep I should go into that section for my size (ex pants 17th hanger in & long sleeve shirt 22nd hanger in)
