This year I am again raising funds for the FCJ Youth Network - a brave space for newcomer and precarious migrant youth to gather, build community, participate in decision making, grow civic engagement and most of all have their voice heard and actualized!!

If you know me, you know that having the youth perspective be an active involvement in every community sphere is a vital component that I am deeply invested in and that's something that is also core to the FCJ Youth Network. Additionally, the mentorship and interpersonal relationships build amidst queer & trans youth and their non queer & trans counterparts within the group and the team is something that keeps me going when the days are more challenging than usual!! If each of us raise $25 to $50 we can keep growing the size and range of activities that the group can do!! We recently just raised our focused target of $1000 at our annual garage sale and took the youth network members to Canada's Wonderland!!
