I’m walking in the Ride for Refuge because I believe everyone deserves the dignity of a real home — a place where kids can grow, families can rest, and limited dollars can go to what matters most, not to replacing a mattress or a table. Plus, if you've known me for any length of time — I love this event because I believe in the power of our networks to come together and make small donations become big contributions. Every single one of your donations matters and makes up a part of the larger picture.

Too many families starting over find themselves in empty apartments — four walls but no basics. I believe our community can do better. Together, we can help families build a foundation for their future, while we take on the task of ensuring they have a bed to sleep in, a table to gather around, and a house that feels like home.
