On Oct. 4th, I am walking 5K in the annual Ride for Refuge to raise money for COMPASS Refugee Centre.

For people in need of protection, life can be difficult in a foreign country where they don't know anyone.  COMPASS is like a light in the darkness, helping them navigate the process and paperwork to be able to live in a free country like ours, where they can finally feel safe.
