Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As you know, I am a member of the Board of Directors of the FCJ Refugee Centre, and I am happy to participate in the 2025 Ride for Refuge. The FCJ team has set a goal to fundraise $30,000.00, and as part of that the Board has set the goal to fundraise $4,000.00. The Centre provides supports for refugees and others at risk due to their immigration status. Some of the Centre's programmes and services include:

🔸Providing legal support and information to refugees and migrants;

🔸Providing temporary shelter for women and children, as well as housing support and referrals for refugees; 

🔸ESL classes;

🔸Programming for youth including access to education;

🔸Support for survivors of human trafficking;

🔸Food security programs and more!

Everyone who donates $20 or more will get an income tax receipt immediately.  All donations whether big or small are greatly appreciated as every dollar makes a difference. 

Feel free to come out on Saturday October 4th for the actual bike ride or walk in support of this initiative. Registration is at 3:00 p.m and send off at 4:00 p.m Cedarvale Park, 443 Arlington Avenue, Toronto.
