I am a survivor of domestic violence. Without the critical support of Liberty Lane, I would not be where I am today—thriving as a mother of two amazing kids, in a stable, healthy relationship, and living a life I never thought possible.

My oldest child and I endured years of abuse. I lost myself completely—my identity, my confidence, and my hope. I had to rebuild my life from the ground up, starting in a tiny furnished shared apartment with nothing but determination.

I’m one of the lucky ones who was able to break free and rebuild. I will always be grateful for those who stood beside me through my darkest hours. Today, I have the privilege of working alongside some of the very women who once helped save me.

This is my first year participating in the Ride for Refuge, raising funds for Liberty Lane and Youth in Transition—two lifelines for those seeking hope, safety, and freedom. They are doing the work that saves lives… but they can’t do it without us.

My purpose now is to give back—to show other women and mothers facing what I once did that there is hope. You will make it. Liberty Lane will be there with you every step of the way, reminding you that you are worthy and you are enough.
