I’m thrilled to be volunteering at #RIDE25 and fundraising for COMPASS Refugee Centre—an organization I’m proud to work for and deeply committed to.

COMPASS is the only organization in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph solely focused on helping refugee claimants achieve legal status in Canada. Every day, I witness the strength of people who’ve fled danger and are now navigating barriers most of us will never face—confusing legal systems, fear, and uncertainty.

Legal status isn’t just a technicality—it’s the key to safety, stability, and a future. At COMPASS, we walk alongside refugee claimants with compassion and expertise, offering hope and practical support through one of the most difficult journeys imaginable.

This event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a chance to rally around an organization that brings real change to real lives. I’ve seen it happen. And with your help, we can keep making it happen.
