I am fundraising to support Arrowsmith Lodge and Cokely Manor because as a board member for 10 years i saw frequently how a little bit of funds can make a world of difference to seniors. 

Arrowsmith is funded by Island Health for medical requirements and care. Your tax dollars support that. But we volunteers are fund raising to provide for an outdoor space to gather on the property; for horticultural experiences, for art and music therapy to name some of the activities. Fostering engagement in life and bringing joy from that engagement. Thats what were fund raising for!

To date we have construction working on the beginnings of a  contemporary outdoor space that facilitates those in walkers and chairs, which is most of our residents.  This next push for funding will build the overhead coverage, the garden box's, the surround for the area.   Its one way you can assist over a 100 residents to enjoy the out of doors and the activities that will be supported with this safe and enjoyable outdoor patio space. Its a real project you can touch and feel with your hands and see where your funds go.  Please help and contribute what you can.
