Why I’m Riding
Many years ago, I trained for my very first triathlon. At the time, I was going through a difficult season of depression, and I needed something to push me forward. Training gave me structure, purpose, and a reason to believe in myself again. Since then, I’ve stayed more active, and movement has become a big part of how I stay grounded and healthy.
This fall, I’m riding in Ride for Refuge to support the John Howard Society, an organization that helps people rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and opportunity. Their work with individuals facing barriers from homelessness, addiction, or involvement with the justice system, gives people the chance to write a new story for their lives.
I know from my own experience that change is possible, and that sometimes all it takes is the right support at the right time. That’s why this cause matters to me.
By donating to my ride, you’re not just cheering me on, you’re standing with people who are working hard to create a better future for themselves and their families!
Thank you so much for your support 💙 #ride25
