To me, Oasis means family. Within my time as an Oasis Program Coordinator for Kenron Estates, I have seen first hand how a community can come together as a family and make a difference in each other's lives. Some of the member's have lived here for over 20 years and this is their first time becoming involved in activities and meeting new people within their community. It truly is an honour to be able to create a warm, welcoming and inclusivie environment for each beautiful face that walks through those doors! From hearing them share stories of their childhood to being able to celebrate them accomplish bucket list moments, to being a shoulder to lean on when the days get too heavy to being able to create programs that provide them belly aching laughter and fond memories. I am honoured to be part of their life story and to contribute to making each of their days worth living in the most meaningful ways. To be part of Oasis, is an employment dream come true. Every day you feel inspired to do better and be better. And each moment feels like you are spending quality time with the people who mean most to you!
