Dear Friends and Family,

On Oct. 4th, 2025 I am once again participating in one of my most favourite fundraising events - Ride for Refuge on behalf of Action Réfugiés Montréal (ARM).  Our organization seeks justice for asylum-seekers and refugeed people who arrive in the Montreal area.  Sadly, due to federal government reductions in the number of immigrants and refugees to Canada, life has become much more difficult for the people ARM serves.  Our detention, sponsorship and twinning programs are working hard to assist those who are newly arrived from around the world.

I`ve been a member of the ARM board for the past 13 years and will be stepping down at the end of 2025 after we complete our Strategic Planning process.
