I find it all too easy to get caught up in my own busy life and forget about the great difficulties that others, like refugees, face. So, I am glad when the Ride For Refugee rolls around as a reminder that organizations like Kinbrace are out there supporting refugees all year round, and I can play a role by fundraising for them. So, thanks for considering supporting me this year - I really believe this organization can make a difference in helping forcibly displaced people. They advocate for refugees who are fleeing for safety and make them feel welcome. Kinbrace is also BC’s longest-serving housing provider for refugee claimants, offering dedicated support and accessible educational resources across Canada.
